The current Republican party is the result of all previous Republican actions and policies. Fuck them all, regardless of what they have to sat about it now. Especially Cheney.
Notice how it’s almost always “former representative/senator/congressman, etc?”
It’s not a serious party. So abandon it and join the Democrats. The GOP must go the way of the Whigs.

Truly should be called Fiscal Conservatives right in the name. We actually do need a party that is focused on reform and efficiency which is a great counter to the Democratic party. But I think that would have to be a fresh upstart party not one built out of the current GOP.
The problem is that Republicans jumping ship just pulls the Democrats further right. Eventually,leftists will split off and the remaining Democrats will turn into pieces of shit like the current Republicans.
Call me crazy but I’d be hopeful that the overton window snaps back and the Democrats become the new Center-Right party while the vacuum is filled with something more comparable to a European Social Democratic party.
