I’m not the best at math, but if she’s averaging 20% in the primaries (after dropping out)…even a quarter of those folks voting third party or staying home means you’re toast, bro.

Sshhh… never interrupt an adversary when they are making a mistake.

Further alienating disgruntled potential voters by making fun of them… it’s a bold strategy. Let’s see if it pays off.

In the meanwhile, all the pro-palestine protesters now heard that even that miniscule tap on the brakes (which is a big signal in geopolitics) lead to a major flip out by the GOP… so they might not like that Biden is not doing enough… the GOP is now showing that if they are in power… Israel will have a no limits friend… who will not even speak out on bombing condensed civic centers.

A lot of polling organizations are still in the practice of just calling numbers in random parts of the country and asking who you plan to vote for.

Who still answers random numbers they don’t recognize? The answer is old people.

Old people and lonely people. People who are insecure and want to talk to others, but they have few people willing to put up with them. Trump voters.

Similar thing for online polls. Tech savvy people would lean left and we tech people, by in large, wouldn’t bother wasting our time on these polls. Meanwhile the people who do usually lean toward a certain side.

Polls have never been that accurate and they’re getting worse. Romney ahead of Obama in polls

I’m not suggesting folks get complacent but I wouldn’t lose sleep over any polls this far out. The fact that Trump has ANY support is worrying though.

The really weird thing is how the Democrats have been beating those polls nationwide by 9+ points since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

It’s almost like the media needs a horse race.

Really? That has not been my impression, except AFAIK Democrats have won a few elections since then.

If those Haley primary voters are GOP adherents that had their lives / farms / families / health destroyed by Trump’s stupid & evil policies, they likely won’t be back to vote for Trump.

And the Orange Moron saying that out loud will make absolutely sure of it. It’s literally human nature.

There is a little mini insurrection in the GOP primary (like 30% not voting for Trump even though he’s clearly the nominee, or people saying they may not vote for Trump in the general election in a way that’s pretty unusual).

That’s not to say “oh let’s relax, Trump definitely won’t win.” But people even on the right are figuring out he’s a dangerous POS. The news likes to report the other kind of election coverage a lot more than this kind, so it’s not real common to see stories about it, but it’s happening in a real unusual way so far.

I’d REALLY like to know what percentage of those were mail in or early voting. I’m sure that some will switch to Trump and the polls in the places that matter still have him winning by a good margin. Get out and vote!
