I’d also like to point out - why is human sexuality called “Sodomy” when men have sex together but not when hetero people have anal sex. Especially since most gay couples do not regularly have anal sex anyway, and studies have shown that hetero couples frequently do. What makes it “sodomy” other than one’s won need to paint human sexuality as something bleak, horrible, and disgusting in as perverse a way as possible.
For these people Sodomy is everything that isn’t sex for procreation. That includes oral, anal and every form of birth control. So this isn’t really a gotcha but just their next steps on the list.
They were all illegal as part of anti sodomy laws.
