Hope this isn’t a repeated submission. Funny how they’re trying to deflect blame after they tried to change the EULA post breach.

    Eh, not really. 23andMe isn’t publishing entire genomes for download. At worst, these hackers were downloading info about medical conditions relating to specific genes from the breached accounts and ancestry/profile data from other accounts that were sharing that data with the breached accounts. That really wouldn’t have caused a huge bump in traffic.
