Seems like the kind of post I’d expect your average showerthought-enjoyer to not mind seeing on their feed.
EDIT: I’m up for philosophical thoughts community though
Independent thinker valuing discussions grounded in reason, not emotions.
I say unpopular things but never something I know to be untrue. Always open to hear good-faith counter arguments. My goal is to engage in dialogue that seeks truth rather than scoring points.

In my view stupidity is about how one thinks, not what they know.
Agreed. Lets apply that to politics too while we’re at it.
It’s quite funny how the virus originated in a city with a lab studying precisely that kind of virus, yet judging by the comments, it’s considered outrageous to even suggest the possibility that it might have escaped from that lab.
Nobody is claiming with absolute certainty that it did, but it seems strange to completely dismiss the idea.
Well obviously if there was literally not a single new device matching the criteria available, then I would need to compromise on the headphone jack but if there is even a single device that still has it along with the other features then that’s what I’d get.
I did the exact same thing with my previous device, LG V20. I used it closer to seven years while waiting for someone to release a new model with a headphone jack and a removable battery. Then Samsung released such device and that’s the one I got.
The way things are going? EU just recently mandated that in the future batteries must be able to be replaced by the end user. There’s likely going to be more devices like this soon, not less.
My device has both - on top of headphone jack and removable battery.
Headphone jack and removable battery are the two features I will not compromise on. Makes selecting a new phone pretty damn easy. I would have loved a fairphone but sorry, no exceptions.
It is by far my favourite game ever. I’m not aware of any other quite like it. The level of immersion is insane and like you said, you really don’t want to die and lose everything you’ve been working for tens of hours. The base game itself is not that difficult once you get the hang of it but the fact that you may get shot at by other player literally at any moment changes everything. It’s an absolutely massive map and even if there was like only 5 other people playing you still can’t let your guard down because one may be in the same town as you. I just wish people were more willing to talk instead of shooting on sight, though I can’t really blame them.
There’s a 15 second delay for logging out but yeah, you can log out mid-firefight and many people do. However the point was that when you die you don’t get to try again from last save - you start again from zero.
DayZ master race. No saving available.
Not a meme. Do we really need politics on every-single-community?
I consider myself unlikeable as well but all my real life interactions with other people indicate otherwise. At some point the pile of evidence to the contrary stacks so high that I need to consider wether I might be wrong. Not there yet though.
If you don’t want to deal with life then you can just end it for yourself. No need to take the rest of the humanity with you.
One million invested to the stock market pays you on average 70k a year in interests. Now imagine having a billion on the stock market.
