Reading is difficult.
"Honey, come back to bed’
“One sec dear, I have to scan your consent form”
Invite her back to my place for some jousting.
It’s by design

News@lemmy.world•Biden sets a 10-year deadline for US cities to replace lead pipes and make drinking water safer
2·1 year agoWell that’s good. I was reading that in the UK, they still have lead pipes, but they don’t repair them. If they have to repair it, they just replace it. I imagine it’s the same here. No one’s laying new lead pipes anywhere that I know of.

5·1 year agoWhere are you from? Lead pipes are still a thing most everywhere unfortunately. A relic of the past. They aren’t used for new construction, but they are a problem with older infrastructure.
I have a fairly unusual, albeit not unheard of, first name. As far as I can tell, I’m sharing my first and last name with 5 or so people in the US. Back in 2008 or so I nabbed first.last@gmail.com (I also own www.firstlast.com haha). Every so often one of my brethren will use my email at dicks sporting goods or something. I always finish activating the account for them and sign them up for text alerts or something. Nothing evil. I figure they can just reply “stop” to opt out.

Probably an American who made the meme.
I wouldn’t think much about it if British person made the meme and used “Moo” for their cow. I would just assume it was a British person who made the meme. To them that’s the default.
