Are you saying that only the 3 people that got let go (and potentially shafted), are the only people that worked on the game? I don’t believe that’s the case but I could be wrong of course.

If a studio goes under cause of lack of sales of a game it’s not the execs who suffer. Can’t see the point your making rn?

Not sure I can support that take. Kinda focussed on the headline there and ignores the fact that other people work there also, that are probably relying on the success of this game for their paychecks and ability to keep making games. The dev industry in general is not in great shape atm.

Let the courts sort out shady business practices imo.

Support a decent game (if it is decent).

60 hours in and loving it. Enemies get much harder further in. I find the lore excellent as a Dune fan. Graphics are great and gameplay is fun and challenging, every thing feels like a constant threat and achieving anything is rewarding.

If you got credits, thats you completed the tutorial. The game has ridiculous depth and story to discover. I can totally see how not every one gets that

If you enjoy this vibe check out void crew. Similar premise but been out a few years and more rogue like elements

Take a look at Apico pixel game all about beekeeping (is more akin to Stardew in how much the is to do however). Fantastic game

+1 for Frostpunk. Great city builder where the choices you make are often between the lesser of two evils. Very difficult, expect to lose your first few runs!

Heartbound - indie game in constant development

It’s impressive how much it pains you on certain decisions, the storm is on the way and I’ve just discovered a cave of children. I know I can’t reasonably take them in without building way more housing which I don’t think I’ve got time for. Welp time to leave then and live with that.

Picked up Frost Punk cheap and started banging my head against it
