We had it much worse than you!” just feels horrible, I’m sick of this kind of conversation were we are being more divided because of “differences between generations” when the problem is a bunch of assholes who had a great time in a great economy making present look like hell and then blaming us for that, it’s not about “generations”, it’s about abuse.

It has to be in a cluster (so I can’t use a Simple zone) and has to be isolated from the rest of the LAN
Trincapinones@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Having some issues in Proxmox trying to learn SDNsEnglish21·5 months agoIt wasn’t created by AI, I’m just a newbie to networking and was pretty tired, at this point I spent ~4 hours on this problem 😅.
I tried everything, the VMs can ping each other but not the nodes, and the VM can mount and see the NFS share but the nodes can’t.
The mount is correct because I’ve configured it before and it worked, and if I change the network device of the VMs to vmbr1 instead of VlanNet (the SDN) it works again, thanks for your time ^^
Edit: Typo

I’m waiting for Playnite to have support for linux and then I’ll link it to a Games on Whales VM on Proxmox

The Nintendo ban only prevents you from accessing Nintendo servers so by disabling internet in your switch forever you are just basically banning yourself

The guest was Bazzite with 2 cores and 2 GB of RAM, I was not even gaming, just login on steam and updating the system and I had sudden crashes with Bazzite only using 1 GB on the Summary…

Trincapinones@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Fully Virtualized Gaming Server?English81·11 months agoI’ve recently tried to do that using sunsine and different linux gaming distros and it was awful, the VM was working great for a few minutes and then suddenly crashes and I have to hard stop it.
All the people that I’ve seen talking about it on the internet are using Windows VMs so I guess that I’m doing something wrong or the only way to do it is through a Windows VM, which I’ll not even try.
