I moved to Affinity early this year, and it has been amazing!! I was expecting a long adjustment period after decades with Photoshop, but it’s so similar that I picked it up super quick!

So true… I’m super shy and introverted. My extroverted friends who essentially adopted me are the brightest parts of my life. They’ve allowed me to experience things I never would have and are incredibly patient and understanding when I need me time.
Sooo excited for this!! Super enjoyed each season. I’m not really into power level or fighting/combat anime, but the series balanced mystery, drama, and SoL so well to me that it became a favorite.
It’s so hard to explain this to people too 😭 my entire existence just freezes until whatever is scheduled is finished. And then those times when people cancel last minute and the entire day was like this…
Definitely make sure to listen to the game’s music if you play! Such an amazing soundtrack!!
This game and Roboquest are two of my favorite roguelikes! They both have a different feel when using the weapons, but both are incredibly satisfying! The progression and unlocks feel rewarding, the coop is fun (only played them with friends, so idk how online‐strangers coop is), and I enjoy how the difficulty scales. Love the weapon, perk, and build variety!!
I never used TikTok either! I’m not super into short video content. I had a macro photography account on IG about 5 years ago with 30k followers; I closed it after a lot of life obstacles but recently started shooting again. I’m not super into supporting Meta, so I thought I’d just see how RN is since it’s both image and video content. I’ve honestly been incredibly surprised! There’s a lot more user interaction in posts with so much of it being supportive. There are creators posting there whose content on other platforms would always attract negative and hateful comments - absolutely none of that so far on RN. The CN community has been very welcoming, patient, and helpful to new users. I definitely think it’s worth checking out, even if it’s just to get a glimpse of another culture!
Anecdotally, most of my explore is lgbtq posts with plenty of comments and interaction. Some posts are many days old. I’m 100% sure there is and will be further censorship, but I’ve not really encountered it yet… I’ve also been seeing articles about there being a large amount of specific content (Luigi, guns, etc) that I haven’t encountered at all.
You’re remembering right (or we’re both remembering wrong 🤭)! The final after credits scene implied that the two main characters were reincarnated, and as they were passing each other in a crowd on the street, something compelled the MC to reach out and stop Angel, reuniting them in their new lives 🩷 I think it was unclear if he fully remembered everything that happened, but it was the bittersweet, made me cry even harder, scene that we needed 😭
It pretty much takes place in a limbo/purgatory. Children who die without finding peace or have unresolved emotions end up there. The story slowly reveals this and explores each characters’ reasons for ending up there - often confronting their death and untangling the things which kept them from moving on. Time itself is kind of nebulous there; two of the main characters, one who starts as a sort of antagonist and the protagonist, are kind of tied together by fate with the protag being a heart donor to the antagonist. The protagonist died before and his heart was given to her, but somehow she ended up there before him even though she lived a full life (if I’m remembering right) l. It’s honestly a super beautiful story, and I think one of my favorite parts is the ending song/mv which plays at the end up each episode- it features every character, and as they move on during the series their spot in the ED is just blank with the final episode ending without any of them.
Your Lie in April and Angel Beats! both crushed me 😭
It could be that Gemini was unsettled by the user’s research about elder abuse, or simply tired of doing its homework.
That’s… not how these work. Even if they were capable of feeling unsettled, that’s kind of a huge leap from a true or false question.
I still really enjoy Phasmophobia and all the games which came out after that have similar mechanics/gameplay. The Dark Pictures games are all really great experiences. There’s also indie games like Little Nightmares and Dredge! Alan Wake, Outlast, Still Wakes the Deep… Honestly there’s been so many amazing ones which have come out. For days/nights where you want a lighter experience, the Observation Duty type games can be fun!
Last time I had my eye appointment I asked for both prescriptions (since I guess they are different sometimes). Got a 3 month supply of contacts since I only use them when I go out and maybe go out 3 days a week, and some nice prescription glasses online. Now the real thing I’m after… Lasik. I had transitions for a year or two, but got so tired of wearing them when I was out for the day with friends- walk outside, fine, go in a shop…dark. By the time we’re done in the shop they’ve just started to fade, then back outside and it’s too bright… repeat 😵💫 I even paid for the ‘quick’ transitions.
I LOVE music anime, especially the ones you listed off. It would feel so off not having the accompanying music with their stories.
Kind of okay with this. I don’t really want to manage/clean a huge place. 2 bed, 1 bath, 1 car garage , and a little back yard is perfect for me as a single person. If it was priced reasonably, I would jump at it- but where I live they’d charge close to a mil and everything would start to fall apart in a year or two because of cut corners 😞
My friends despised my Elvish Piper deck since it could easily summon creatures like this 🤭 Especially when they were playing mono colored decks and I just pipered out Iona, Shield of Emeria.
