Rock a do what a day has played unbidden randomly in my head since the first time I saw that movie. I rewatched it with my kids a few years ago and it is pretty much the same plot as the Elvis movie with Austin Butler. The story of Elvis’ financial abuse was more commonly known than I had realized. Sad story
The bond market really. Dips in stocks just means cheaper stuff to buy. Bonds suffering makes the money to buy the cheap stocks more expensive and that affects the
useless eaterspeople at the top that live off the labor of others.

5·6 days agoBiden dropped out of the race because he looked like the crypt keeper in that debate. Nothing but the force of the donor class can do that in the United States. Not enough Americans care about Gaza to shift the thinking of the old people in charge about the United States’ relationship with Israel. Kamala being a bad candidate who would never earn a candidacy for president is her own thing. Her not having an quick rejoinder to a softball question is exemplary of her political acumen.

13·9 days agoI’m not sure what you’re trying to get at? How is a library having instruments for people to play different from libraries having books to read?
“If you need toes, I can get you toes.”
Do you have a max toe number or just a minimum?

A grain is just an old system of weight. 1 grain is about 64 mg. I was tested on grain based dosages in school but never saw them used in real life.

41·12 days agoYour understanding is the one I was taught throughout university but there is a competing vision where saturated fats aren’t bad. The people who talk about the evils of seed oils tend to believe this. I haven’t looked into it in a few years but there are lots of internet doctors/health influencers who can walk you through the reasoning if you are interested. I didn’t find the arguments too compelling but I’ve also been bored of extreme diets for a bit so I may be biased.
