I think he’s trying to attract these unsavory parties, because they are easy to be bought before and after they are in power. Then he can develop his tech any way he sees fit. If you look at how he’s been interacting with other tech leaders, it’s pretty freaky. He was hassling Dr. Hinton not too long before latching onto Trump.

Oh, this is theater again. The smarter MAGA creeps are doing this to distract the public and government (the parts that can actually do something) from Musk’s influence. They totally want his money and interventions. It’s actually encouraging other tech corporations to give them money as Musk is so dangerous in the field (he’s trying to wipe out OpenAI and has hopes to gain assloads of power with his own AI).

This is very concerning for anyone who has paid attention to Musk’s movements/behaviors prior to connecting with Trump. I’m not talking about the X rants (those are a distraction), but Musk’s interaction with the tech industry—particularly the AI industry. I believe the man wants loads of power through AI, and he’ll gain it in very unconventional ways if he influences Trump and the rest of the GOP. This goes beyond an oligarchy. The potential he could have to completely run the world is quite large. This is why so many tech companies are paying massive financial homage to Trump at this time.

He likely would not have won. It surprises me how discrepancies in this election haven’t been questioned, but at this point it may not matter. As for his choice of Merrick Garland. Yeah, that and not really doing much about unseating DeJoy was a mistake.

This is all public theater to distract from his actual actions with the government—and the tech industry, too.

I know most people will write this off as him being an idiot, but I believe he’s doing this to distract from his involvement with the government. It’s all theater to distract us from what he and the politicians he’s heavily involved with are actually doing. Add in his involvement in the tech trade, and it’s actually really disturbing what he may be doing.

They’re safety washing. If AI has this much potential to be that dangerous, it never ever should have been released. There’s so much in-industry arguing, it’s concerning.

Yeah, it’s why I’m considering Mazda for my next vehicle. Granted, my 2010 Civic needs to get closer to “death” (about 100K more miles or so).

If that happens, I don’t think the turnout will be anywhere near the same as it was before.

I postulate there is a lot more to this story than is being told. It was what, 29 employees and later more who were fired? I don’t think this is a simple case of people being idiots.

Most people get them from farmers’ markets. There are supposedly health advantages to it, but I’d assume this would be the case from buying from a smaller responsible farm over a corporate factory farm anyhow—regardless of whether it’s pasteurized or not.

Hahahaha! Been a triathlete for 6 years and a distance runner for 20. Not hurting for protein or calcium at all after dropping cow dairy and most meat (I occasionally have fish 1-3 times a week). Went off eggs a few years, too, and was fine. There’s so many alternatives these days—even for people who don’t have time to prepare/cook.

Milk is not good for cats to begin with.

I’m not. I’m done being scared after the pandemic, but we are careful now. My family continues to mask in indoor public places most of the time—especially if it’s crowded with a bunch of people we don’t know well who have small children. We had COVID over Christmas and New Year after going mask-free in the late fall. I ended up with COVID psychosis in February, and the health effects are still impacting me as a runner/triathlete up to this point in late April. Until more is done to remedy that crap, I prefer not to risk hurting my pulmonary or nervous system again. I’ve had friends who’ve had this thing about 3 or 4 times and dread to think what their brains and hearts are turning into—especially as they age further (we’re in our 40s/50s). I haven’t had a flu in ages so I suppose it works quite well for it, too.
