Glad you had a good trip! I accidentally did a heroic dose of acid back in 2016 and I have been leery of psychedelics ever since (though I have done shrooms and a few other research chemicals since then). I had 2x 130µG tabs of acid in my sock drawer for ~18 months that I didn’t store in the freezer or anything, so I figured their potency had diminished and decided to take both. Big mistake. :)
A heroes dose/heroic dose just refers to doing a very high dosage of a psychedelic substance like shrooms.

I’ve always heard a good normal dose is an eighth. According to that article linked above, a heroes dose is 5 grams, or an extra 1.5 grams beyond that.
Also:
On Linux Firefox uses less memory and no longer requires a forced restart after an update has been applied by a package manager
Super minor QoL update but I am all here for it!!
Yeah in addition to the BDS argument, Coca Cola is the worst plastics polluter in the world:

Same, I wish this was ported to kde. Such a useful feature
Congrats! I feel similarly about DS3. Certain fights like Nameless King, Sister Friede, and Gael are some of the best in the entire series IMO, but the linear, grey/bleak levels drag on after a while and then you end the game with the meh Soul of Cinder. Plus that game is where the modern fast roll spam twitchy gameplay originated.
And I thought waking up after dreaming through a full work day and then having to do it all over again way bad enough
This isn’t the article I read but it has tons of info about this:

I read somewhere recently that AI data center open loop water cooling systems drain 100 million liters of freshwater a day and evaporate it away.
I find frozen grapes similarly satisfying
That and Dyson might just be preemptively killing it in the wake of the FTC forcing Razer to refund buyers of its smart mask
