17 days agoYep - the argument from companies that game prices “have to” go up is total bs. The marginal cost of producing an extra copy of a game is effectively zero, so the overall price can come down as the market grows. They are, as always, charging what they think will bring in the most money.

How did you get the impression that default is the most likely outcome? Borrowing costs for the US are likely to rise, but there isn’t any particular reason to expect outright default.
