Looks like you’re using ups. Try a 3rd party tracker. (Sorry i can’t remember the name of one - its been years since I had something shipped from out of country.)
I’ve had success in the past tracking that way.

At least with a brick and mortar store you actually know what you’re getting*
*to a degree. You still won’t know how well it will actually hold up in the real world - but you can at least get an idea of it’s construction (Materials/stitching and so on) that you don’t/can’t get via an online shop (especially with all the bogus reviews nowadays)

"The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.
Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.
But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that’d still be keeping his feet dry in ten years’ time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet."

As far as I’m aware it is bullshit, but some places may have it as an actual rule.

Its kind of already happening here - just for different reasons.
There is very little engagement on Lemmy besides in a few communities. What little engagement there is - is driven by a few users.
Even broad conversion topics get very little engagement.
I get not everyone wants to be a topic “starter” (i know I don’t), but they can’t even bother to either:
1: just post a tiny comment (look at “what are you watching” in the movies / TV subs on piefed.Social; seems like a real easy topic for anyone to engage in and yet there’s only ever like 10 posts and zero upvotes)
2: upvote topics or posts; While the points don’t matter - they still show and promote engagement.
Its honestly rather frustrating.
In single-player games I occasionally “lightly” cheat.
Using “infinite” mods or unlock “everything” mods just ruins all the fun for me.
But unlock a specific thing or get a small amount of rss type cheats that reduce grind I like.

Yeah that’s why I never really got into the scouts - it felt culty (not that I could articulate that back then.)

How Billionaires bought America would be a more accurate title.

I love how you keep trying to gloss over the fact that you are arguing both sides - How the fuck is that “moral”?
Oh becaue you are doing it and you can do no wrong from up on your high horse.
Either you are a troll or you have legitimate brain damage - either way -blocked.

stop trying to argue both sides.
“She should of done xyz instead” in one sentence “that boy deserved it” the next.

I think they meant. “…not that big a deal” as “it’s really easy to do” - based on the rest of their comment.
Lol. So full of yourself. No one is trying to bring “seniority” into this.
Saying you sound like a teenager who just discovered drugs is not the same as saying you are a teenager* (*so shut up - the adults are talking?)
No you really didn’t “try to hint at it”.
Honestly you sound like a teenager who just discovered drugs and really enjoys them so you went down the research rabbit hole.
And there’s nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but everything you said sounds like it’s coming from an arrogant/privileged place.
Ive been lucky enough to never have a bad trip. Im unlucky in that I’ve only been able to trip a handful of times.

Not in his analogy. Fuckwad.

Lol I dont understand why y’all are so focused on dark souls. Is that the only game available?
I suffered through a lot of butthurt comments in this discussion where the people against “easy mode” are acting like all anyone cares about is dark souls having easy mode.
Sure some people are only arguing that. The majority are just arguing about difficulty options in general
Like I already said there are relatively “few” games where the difficulty is core to the game but a shitload more where the difficulty doesn’t really matter. And of that 2nd bunch there is a poor selection of difficulty options in most of them.
I couldn’t care less about dark souls. Even if it had difficulty options I wouldn’t waste my time on it.

But I’m the main character damnit, everyone else is NPCs.
Well books are more likely to be damaged if they are just in a pile whereas dvd and candy boxes aren’t.
Also some bookstores do indeed look like a tornado just came through - just not corporate chains like barnes and nobles.
