Oh, I have never heard of that. Also forgot that he was still around when OW2 launched. Still believe it sucks big time to see a project go down this route especially after being such a big success. It might not be dead, but it definitely is just a shell of its past.

Overwatch is close to being a decade old btw.
It’s so unfortunate what they did to Overwatch, wonder how Jeff Kaplan and the original Team feels about all that.
It is. After development broke down in 2022 development is more active than it ever was. https://blogs.igalia.com/mrego/servo-2025-stats/ I have a binary on my machine and use it for light browsing every now and then just to check in how things are going. Its “usable” for that but would not use it for banking even if it worked.
Not really from the grounds up as it uses WebKit.
Used it very shorty on a mac, but as it really is very similar to safari there is little to no reason to use it.
On a linux maybe, but i think i will stay on firefox until servo is usable. (Which is actually being made from the grounds up)

Man… :( please don’t do that. That’s super boring. They were doing so great pushing people to use Linux.

This sums the problem up fairly nicely I think. I do wonder with Apple being a gatekeeper by EUs own definition and unfair sales terms supposed to be history with the Digital Markets Act in place this can’t go through, right!!! at least not in the EU… assuming they do their job.

That’s how the system works. You don’t expect Walmart to not get a commission when you sell something at their store.
30% is reasonable. DEAL WITH IT.
Don’t like it? Make your own phone and platform.
Opening up the comments on macrumors never disappoints me :)

f4mi made a video about them last year. never knew they were a thing.
It might be badly worded. I do think that consumerism is at least part of what brought as here. I’ve met people having several unopened louis vuitton bags because they noticed they didn’t need them afterwards after they bought them or a bunch of drop shipped spy gadgets that pretend to make your house smart or renting a nice car instead of buying it with their last money. they were not that well off themselves. we should just buy less (and by extension work less)
If they do mean living standard as in “living standard” and with that social activities, food and housing they can go fuck themselves.
has no brain juice though.
Isn’t that what SIGTERM is?
A request to gracefully shutdown processes.
Wait till you start making words up in your native language that you thought were of english origins but were in fact not and people start looking at you funny. :(
Actually started watching movies in my native dub to relearn it. Wish i would be kidding…
My biggest pet peeve are collectables in games not primarily about exploration. I guess it can be implemented in a fun way, but I hate backtracking or not being sure I can continue without looking in every corner in a segment of a level. Replayed Mario Galaxy and it was pleasantly surprised being able to play it in your own way.
~I am aware that nothing is stopping me to do so, even with collectables. Unfortunately I hate half progress bars just as much TT.~

This is giving A-Button Challenge vibes and i’m all for it.

That makes sense :)

Maybe not really answering the question, but what goes against using an HDMI cable? It would “be something simple, that is easy to maintain, as the presentations change daily.”
Assuming you all have laptops ofc.
I do wonder what the peak of Overwatch Legacy was. Don’t find anything credible on the web, seems like they only publicized MAOs
