As far as I know most inbuilt adblockers, don’t work very well. Especially with yt. Everytime yt does something, you would probably have to wait for new version of your browser, and even then it is questionable if it would work. With ublock origin you just click on one button and you are good to go.

I’m yet to see any ad since I’ve started using Brave. Din know about YouTube, I don’t use it.
Why would you want to use some Google-coded, bigoted-ceo, crypto-pushing, link hijacking POS like Brave?
Because it’s simply a better browser.
Brave adblock is just a fork of uBlock with a whitelist for Brave’s partners.
It works. Enough for me not to bother with anything else.
